Ebay Account
With your website starting to come together you need to start thinking about how you are going to get an income from it. One of the easiest ways is having an account with ebay. Here you can link to loads of products in the category you have decided to promote. These products can be displayed on pages on your site, in real time. In other words as the listings are shown on ebay they are also being shown on your site. Each time someone buys the item shown, you get a percentage of the listing fee.
Now here is a bit of advice. It makes sense to choose high value items to display in your category rather than cheap 99p items. Why? Well would not rather get a percentage of something that cost £100 to list (fee) than get a portion of a listing fee of 50p ? So when choosing to display items try and go for high value items. I learned this from experience. I have a site displaying party items, they sell well but the income is low because the listing fees are low!
So learn from my experience and display items that cost £50 or more to list as a final fee. See ebay information when you sign up.
